The Music of Highline

Highline is a dynamic film.  Adventure, history, moments of levity, deeply personal stories, and growth are all part of this story.   
The film needed to be built on a sonic foundation that was true to the experience, and evoked the right feelings at the right times.  Erik Mommsen of Tiny Lunatic did just that.


Based on photos and written descriptions of the story and emotions, Erik composed a score that far surpassed our expectations.   Some pieces are musical and forefront, others you "feel" rather than hear.  
Erik strayed from the typical organic instruments used in many outdoor films, and instead leveraged every sound possible shaped by his own style to build a no-excuses original score that we feel is vital to the Highline project.
